Every Drop Counts, 2008 Bike Rally

The "EVERY DROP COUNTS" Bike Rally organized by the Global Climate Campaign - Call to Action in Jordan movement, in collaboration with the Great Amman Municipality and the GTZ on Saturday was amazing. Thanks to everyone who came along and helped keep up the pressure on country delegates from all over the world at the UN climate talks!

We knew it might be tricky to get many people out because of the cold weather- but more than 100 cyclists came out and around 50 or so supporters showed up to cheer the riders on making it one of the most energetic protests!

The "Every Drop Counts" Bike Rally made it on the pages of 5 major newspapers: Al Rai (twice) , Al Dustour, Al Ghad and Al Arab Al Youm.

A special thanks to: the Great Amman Municipality, GTZ, King Hussein Park, RedBull and Tareef Cycling Club.
